The winners of Apsara Awards 2012

Ranbir Kapoor and Vidya Balan for the third time emerged as winners. For their rave performance in ‘Rockstar and The Dirty Picture, they bagged the Apsara best actor male and female awards. Hosted by Farah Khan and Karan Johar, Apsara Awards was held on Wednesday at Yash Raj studios.

The evening was memorable for Zoya Akhtar as she received the best director award for her film, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and at the same time, it also won the Best Film award. The evening saw some scintillating performance from the soon to be wed Genelia D’Souza and Riteish Deshmukh, Kareena Kapoor grooved to the song ‘Nakka Mukka’, ‘Ringa Ringa’ and the chartbuster ‘Kolaveri Di’. Amisha Patel danced to recent hit item numbers like ‘Chikni chameli’, ‘Ooh La La’ and ‘Madhubala’. Anushka Sharma set the stage on fire with popular telly actors.
